A potentially catastrophic accident was narrowly avoided on the Accra-Kumasi highway after a fully loaded fuel tanker caught fire near New Jejeti on Monday.
The tanker, with registration number GT 6870-24, was transporting approximately 54,000 litres of fuel when it reportedly lost balance and overturned, sparking a fire.
