Fmr President John Dramani Mahama Message To Newly Elected Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin

Former President John Dramani Mahama has penned down a letter to newly elected Speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin.

Mr Bagbin was confirmed the Speaker for the 8th Parliament of the Fourth Republic after the confusion which erupted was calmed down.

Mr Mahama, the flagbearer of the NDC congratulated Mr Bagbin on his victory to be elected as the Speaker of Parliament.

However, according to him, he said today is a day of infamy, which will go down as a low point in the country’s democracy.

He therefore charged the Parliament to investigate the invasion of the military into the Parliament house.

He also condemned Mr Carlos Ahenkorah for snatching ballot sheets during the counting of the ballot votes.
