
A tragic road accident at Asikuma Junction in the Asuogyaman District has claimed the lives of five people. The crash, which involved a Toyota Noah and a tipper truck, occurred on Tuesday, leaving the community in shock.

According to reports, the Ghana National Fire Service (Peki Station) responded promptly to the scene and managed to rescue four victims, including a child, from the wreckage. The injured were immediately transported to the Peki Government Hospital for emergency medical care.

Authorities are yet to confirm the exact cause of the crash, but investigations are underway to determine the circumstances that led to the fatal collision.
