A tragic explosion at Bogobiri in the Obuasi Municipality of Ghana’s Ashanti Region has left one person feared dead and three others injured.
The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) attributes the incident to welding activity at a garage, which triggered the fire explosion.
Firefighters have been deployed to the scene to manage the situation. The GNFS is working to bring the fire under control and ensure the safety of residents.
In a statement shared on Facebook, GNFS advised residents and motorists to steer clear of the affected area and use alternative routes.
