Ex-Lover Arrested in Connection with Kasoa Adom Estate Fire That Claimed Two Lives

The Central East Regional Police Intelligence Unit has arrested 20-year-old Georgina Holom in connection with the tragic fire incident that claimed two lives at Kasoa Adom Estate on Thursday. Georgina, a nine-month-old nursing mother, is reportedly the ex-girlfriend of Kwabena Osei, one of the victims who died in the blaze along with his female companion, Princess Adorley Ahiatey.

Police sources reveal that Georgina has confessed to the crime, citing jealousy as the motive after Kwabena ended their relationship just a few weeks prior. This confession adds a new layer to the investigation, as initial reports suggested three young men were caught on CCTV fleeing the scene on the day of the incident.

The fire, which claimed the lives of Kwabena and Princess, was set in Kwabena’s room, where the two were present. Georgina is currently in police custody, assisting with the investigation to determine whether she acted alone or had accomplices.
