Former Head Pastor of the United Prisons Fellowship and ex-convict, Evangelist Richard Nyarko, has confirmed that Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa is actively preaching at the Nsawam Medium Security Prison, where she is currently serving a jail term.
Speaking on Channel One TV’s Upside Down on Sunday, December 7, 2025, Evangelist Nyarko revealed that he saw Agradaa on November 30 and observed that she appeared calm, modest, and fully engaged in ministerial work within the prison community.
He emphasized that his comments were not an appeal for government intervention but simply an acknowledgement of her continuous dedication to evangelism despite her incarceration.
According to him, this is not the first time he has witnessed Agradaa ministering to inmates, noting that her transformation and commitment have remained consistent during his interactions with her.
“I saw Agradaa last Sunday and she is doing well. We are not campaigning for the government to do anything for her now, but we believe the Lord who allowed her to be there will, in His own time, grant her freedom. The last time I went to the prison, I saw Agradaa preaching,” he said.
Meanwhile, Nana Agradaa is appealing her conviction and the 15-year jail sentence handed down on July 3, 2025. She maintains that the court process was unfair and insists the evidence presented did not justify the verdict on charges of charlatanic advertisement and defrauding by false pretence. She further described the sentence as excessive.
