Endorsement Saga: [WATCH] Kuami Eugene Finally Breaks Silence

Reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Awards artiste of the year, Kuami Eugene has finally reacted to the saga evolving around Sarkodie’s hit song ‘Happy Day.’

Rapper Sarkodie and the ‘Open Gate’ hitmaker have been trending on social media since the release of ‘Happy Day.’

The rapper new banger has got many Ghanaians music lovers jamming to the new song already, however it also spark a lot of controversies.

In the lyrics of the song, the ‘Ofeetso’ hitmaker endorsed incumbent President Nana Akufo-Addo for a second term.

Sarkodie has been lauded on social media by majority of New Patriotic Party (NPP) members for his latest Happy Day song, the ‘Adonai’ hitmaker says it’s not for the political party.

In an exclusive interview with Okay FM, Kuami Eugene said, ” The song is somebody’s craft, I told Sarkodie I wasn’t going to speak about this issue, because I was only called to sing the chorus part.”

According to him, once Sarkodie who owns maximum masters of the song has come out debunked that he did the song for NPP then there’s no point in discussing about it again.
