Election 2024: Global InfoAnalytics polls biased, skewed to favour Mahama – Miracles Aboagye

Dennis Miracles Aboagye, Director of Communications for the Bawumia Campaign Team, has rejected the latest election projections by Global InfoAnalytics, accusing the research firm of bias toward John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The firm’s poll, released ahead of the December 7 elections, predicts Mahama winning with 52.2% of the vote, leaving Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) trailing at 41.4%. Aboagye, appearing on Channel One on November 29, 2024, dismissed the findings as inaccurate and questioned the credibility of the firm and its lead, Mussa Dankwah.

Aboagye claimed the projections were skewed and unrealistic, arguing that they failed to reflect the true political sentiment of the Ghanaian electorate. He also criticized previous polls from the same firm, alleging that they consistently favored Mahama with inflated figures.

He specifically challenged the prediction of a 2-million-vote margin for Mahama, calling it implausible and unsupported by evidence. Referring to past polls, he labeled Mussa Dankwah as lacking credibility, saying, “The man has no credibility; his polls are biased and skewed.”

The Bawumia campaign has remained confident in its chances, insisting that the Vice President is the leading candidate for the presidency despite Global InfoAnalytics’ projections.
