EC Releases Statement To Refute Claims Of Printing Illegal ballot Papers

The Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC), has released a statement to refute claims of printing illegal ballot papers. This was due to the allegations made against them by the NDC Party.

On Sunday, the NDC accuses falsely the electoral commission of printing extra 150,00 ballot papers for the Dec 7 Polls. This is due to the fact a known member from the National Patrioctic Party is the head of  Assembly Press.

Despite the claims, the Electoral Commission has come out with an issued statement to debunk the claims. They describe in their statement allegations as unacceptable one and assured that they will not do anything illegal.

According to the EC, they still don’t know why the NDC is always attacking them falsely. Hence they assured the public of a transparent printing process. The EC promised to keep an open and transparent process of printing the paper.

It also noted the Assembly Press that the NDC hating is the same that printed ballot papers in 1992, 1996, 2000, 2012, and 2016 ballot papers. He pleaded with the general public to ignore the claims.
