Dr. Agyemang Danquah and Dr. Daniel Dzidzienyo Appointed Deputy Directors at WACCI

The West Africa Centre for Crop Improvement (WACCI), a significant institute at the University of Ghana, has announced the appointment of Dr. Agyemang Danquah and Dr. Daniel K. Dzidzienyo as Deputy Directors.

According to a statement issued by WACCI and shared with the Ghana News Agency, effective from October 2, 2023, Dr. Agyemang Danquah assumes the role of Deputy Director of Research, Innovation, and Development. Simultaneously, Dr. Dzidzienyo takes on the position of Deputy Director of Administration, Teaching, and Learning.

These appointments are regarded as pivotal for the Centre, which operates within the College of Basic and Applied Sciences at the University of Ghana. Both Dr. Danquah and Dr. Dzidzienyo are expected to play significant roles in advancing the Centre’s pursuit of excellence and ensuring its sustainability.
