DKB Forgives Akuapem Poloo Visits Her In Nsawam Prison

Ghanaian comedian Derrick Kobina Bonney famed as DKB has announced that he has forgiven Akuapem Poloo as he visited the actress in prison.

The comedian and jailed actress were once good friends before the latter was jailed for the first time.

Akuapem Poloo after her release based on bail accused DKB of taking GHC4,000 from a donor on her behalf and has refused to pick her calls.

DKB later on Thursday, April 29, reported actress Akuapem Poloo to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service as he advanced the process to sue her for defamation.

Though he later dropped the case without saying much, he has now disclosed that he has forgiven the actress. He confirmed this in a new video of himself with a member from Akuapem Poloo’s team.

According to him, he visited the actress at the Nsawam prison where he decided to go and give the convicted actress some relief items.

Forgiveness is for humanity! To err is human. Thanks for the advice @faddick,” he wrote on Instagram after sharing the video below.

The actress was convicted and jailed for 90 days in April 2021 but she secured bail after her lawyers filed for an appeal.

At a hearing last week, the High Court in Accra has dismissed the appeal filed by Akuapem Poloo that sought to challenge the jail term.

The verdict has seen the mother of one sent back to prison to continue her sentence.

Black Sherif Is A One-way Artiste - Blakk Rasta

One of Ghana’s highly opinionated radio presenters, Blakk Rasta has given his verdict on fast-rising rapper Black Sherif.

Black Sherif broke into the limelight with his Second Sermon song which got a lot of recognition from all over the world.

The song earned him a collaboration with Grammy Award winner Burna Boy to record the remix.

He went to carry the Ghanaian fast-rising rapper along with him during his music tour last year.

Currently, his Kwaku The Traveller has garnered a lot of attention topping most music charts around the world.

Speaking to Nana Tuffour and Frema Adunyame on Citi TV show “Upside Down, the highly opinionated broadcaster without mincing words posited that the Kwaku The Traveller is a lucky musician who has a certain grace in his life.

According to him, a lot of people have made songs which are more popular than Kwaku The Traveller but Black Sherif is a lucky guy.

He further advised the young rapper to learn from the mistakes of other musicians in the industry and move on.

Blakk Rasta added that the Second Sermon hitmaker’s two songs he has listened to are so similar.

” I have listened to two of his songs and I think that they are so similar.  Similarity is not one way but if he is not careful he will be a one-way artiste,” the former Zylofon presenter remarked.
