Buhari Is Worst President At Keeping His Promises - Samuel Ortom

Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom, says President Muhammadu Buhari is the worst Nigerian leader at keeping his promises.

According to Samuel Ortom says Buhari must stop playing favourites for his tribe and take decisions beneficial to Nigerians.

Buhari was first elected president in 2015 on the back of his promises to tackle corruption, improve the economy, and reduce insecurity.

Ortom said during a televised interview on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 that the president has failed on his major promises to the Nigerian people, despite crediting him with some level of development in some other areas.

“These prominent things that is concerning to Nigerians, tell me where Mr President has come out to address this matter.

“Is it corruption? We’re worse in the history of this country,” he said.

Ortom has been a vocal critic of the president for years, particularly on the herders-farmers crisis that has politically split the nation.

The conflict, majorly caused by open grazing of cattle, has led to the death of hundreds of people and displacement of thousands from their local communities.

The governors of all 17 states in the southern region recently banned open grazing, instructing herders to adopt ranching as an alternative devoid of possible conflict.

However, Buhari has himself numerous times insisted on open grazing, and the reopening of old cattle routes and grazing areas.

Ortom said on Tuesday that the president’s stubborn stance is fueled by his agenda to wrest control of the country to his Fulani tribe, many of whom are nomadic herders majorly blamed for attacks in the conflict.

The governor said the president’s position is toxic to the unity of the nation and will serve no one but his tribe.

He said Nigeria has gone back 20 years under the president and that Nigerians must ensure the situation does not become worse.

His copy was unmistakably dazed by the deed of Kuami Eugene and uncovered he has never seen such cash and contemplated whether it is legal to use in Ghana.

The presenters and panelists on the show all applauded and communicated appreciation to Kuami Eugene for what he did.

Kuami Eugene then, at that point, took pictures with his copy who looked actually like one another.

From the composition to the haircut and method of dressing, they strike some resemblance.

BREAKING: South Africa’s Final Apartheid-Era President Dies Age 85

FW de Klerk, the former president of South Africa and the last white man to lead the country, has died at the age of 85.

Mr de Klerk, who was also a key figure in the nation’s transition to democracy, had been diagnosed with cancer this year, a spokesman said.

Mr de Klerk was head of state between September 1989 and May 1994.

In 1990 he announced he was releasing anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela, leading to multi-party polls in 1994.

A statement from the former president’s FW de Klerk Foundation on Thursday morning read: “Former President FW de Klerk died peacefully at his home in Fresnaye (Cape Town) earlier this morning following his struggle against mesothelioma cancer.”

The foundation had announced the diagnosis – a cancer that affects the lining of the lungs – in June this year.

FW de Klerk had taken over from PW Botha as the head of the National Party in February 1989 and the following year announced he was removing the ban on parties that included Mr Mandela’s African National Congress (ANC).

His actions helped bring an end to apartheid-era South Africa, and he became one of the two deputy presidents after the multi-party elections in 1994 that saw Mr Mandela become president.

Mali Parliament Vice-President Freed

Mali’s interim parliament vice-president has been freed, weeks after he was arrested for public order offences.

Issa Kaou N’Djim was arrested in October and a ruling on his case is expected in December.

He was accused of making “subversive remarks”, which were not disclosed.

N’Djim is a supporter of Mali’s President Assimi Goïta but is a critic of Interim Prime Minister Choguel Kokalla Maïga.

His lawyers had said his detention was illegal because of a parliamentary immunity.
