President John Dramani Mahama has appointed celebrated media personality and journalist, Bridget Otoo, as a staffer at the Office of the President
Bridget Otoo is widely recognized for her impactful presence in Ghana’s media space and her bold advocacy on social and political issues. Over the years, she has gained a reputation as one of Ghana’s most outspoken and influential journalists.
She has been actively involved in activism, notably participating in the “Occupy Julorbi House” protest organized by the Democracy Hub on September 21, 2023, in Accra an event that amplified calls for accountability and democratic governance.
Bridget’s appointment is seen by many as a nod to the increasing involvement of civil society advocates and media professionals in national policymaking and governance.
