The 3 member committee formed to investigate board member for Accra Hearts of Oak Alhaji Briamah Moro, known in Football circles as Alhaji Akambi has exonerated him of any wrongdoings.
Reports reaching 442gh.com from Oyerepa FM in Kumasi indicates the Committee has wrapped up its work and presented its findings to the board.
Alhaji Akambi was accused of taking a 200 Ghana Cedis bribe from the chief Executive officer of Division one league side Nkoranza Warriors Kuuku Bartels after introducing him to the Board Chairman of the club Togbe Afede.
Accra Hearts of Oak were on the verge of signing player Emmanuel Sarkodie from the division one outfit, but the deal fell through raising concerns from a section of the club’s fans on the involvement of the board member.
He was later accused of accepting bribes from the division one club, and further demanding a percentage on the transfer of the player should Hearts of Oak eventually sign him [Sarkodie]
