Born some 53years ago and a proud product of Presbyterian Boys Secondary School (Presec), Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong has an amazing business career in the small and medium scale industry and an up and coming industrialist.
Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong is an entrepreneur with business interests in the import and export as well as trading sectors of Ghana’s economy. He is also the founder of the Special Investments Limited , a real estate and construction business based in Accra and Special Ice Ltd, a mineral water brand which has production points in Accra and Kumasi.
As an astute entrepreneur, he has partnered with celebrated business owner, Osei Kwame Despite to found a number of companies including the United 2 Co. Ltd, a holding company for the U2 Salt Limited United Television (UTV Ltd), and Best Point Savings and Loans Company Limited.
In recognition of his exploits in the business world and his contribution to the socioeconomic development of Ghana, Ernest Sarpong has been conferred with an honorary Doctorate degree of Philosophy in Law from the Barkley University of the United States of America. He was also awarded the ‘Best Manufacturing Entrepreneur for 2013 by the Entrepreneurs Foundation of Ghana.
Kwaku Bediako is Group Executive Chairman of CH Group and CEO of Chase Petroleum. Kwaku is a serial entrepreneur who has founded and run successful businesses over the past couple of decades. His most recent and notable ventures are Chase Petroleum which is a subsidiary of his CH Group. He also established Goldkey Properties Ltd in 1997.
Chase Petroleum, which he founded also in 1997, has grown to become a market leader in oil trading and bulk distribution of petroleum products in Ghana and parts of West Africa. Chase was one of the first local companies to be licensed as a bulk distributor of petroleum products in Ghana.
Following his passion for real estate, Kwaku set up Goldkey Properties, and later added other auxiliary businesses, including Blackwell Realty Ltd and Denton Property Managers Ltd, to exploit this niche. Today, these companies are well-known brands, together credited with developing several acres of prime properties for sale or rental purposes.
The Peristrofi World Honorary International Award Conference bestowed an Honorary Ambassador of Business Entrepreneur in West Africa.
He has been conferred with a Doctorate Degree of Philosophy in Law from Barkley University in the United States of America for his contribution to the socio-economic development of Ghana.
Ernest has also been awarded the Best Manufacturing Entrepreneur for 2013 by Entrepreneurs Foundation under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade and Industries.
Dr. Ofori-Sarpong is a God fearing man and a good Christian brought up in the Presbyterian way. He is blessed with a pretty wife and three lovely children.
