Bernard Mornah to Challenge High Court Ruling at Supreme Court

Bernard Mornah, the flagbearer of the People’s National Convention (PNC), has declared his intention to appeal to the Supreme Court after the High Court dismissed his suit seeking to overturn his disqualification from the 2024 presidential election.

Following the court’s ruling on Monday, October 21, 2024, Mornah argued that the Electoral Commission (EC) made errors in its decision to disqualify him and ten other candidates. He expressed confidence in his case and confirmed that his legal team is preparing to petition the Supreme Court for a review of the decision.

“The EC made mistakes on their own forms, and we are not allowed to make mistakes,” Mornah told the media, criticizing the judge for not fully addressing the issues brought before the court. He remains determined to continue his legal battle.
