Arsenal Carry PL Table After Losing 5-0 To Man City – Match Report

Premier League side, Arsenal were beaten mercilessly by Premier League Champions on Saturday after at the Etihad Stadium.

Ten-man Arsenal were completely outplayed by Manchester City as they fall down to the bottom of the Premier League.

This is the first time since 1954 the Gunners have lost three opening games of the league season and this match was over by half-time.

By the seventh minute Ilkay Gundogan head Gabriel Jesus cross to give the hosts the lead.

Arsenal situation got worsen for at the 35th minute after Granit Xhaka got red card for his two-footed tackle on Jao Cancelo.

Gabriel Jesus scored in the 43 minutes to make it 3-0 against the Gunners before the end of the first half.

Rodri also scored at the  53rd minutes to make it the first goal during the second half and further break any hope for the Gunners.

to comeback before Torres header from six yards away in the  84th minute put the final nail on the coffin of Arsenal game for the day.

At the end of the game, they managed only one shot – off target – and 19% possession.

The Gunners are yet to score a goal this season in the Premier League and immediately after the international break, they play Norwich, the team they replaced at the bottom of the table.
