Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo was on the scoresheet as Bournemouth secured a 3-1 victory over Southampton in their Premier League clash on Monday night at the Vitality Stadium.
Semenyo netted Bournemouth’s third goal of the night, capping off a dominant first-half performance by Andoni Iraola’s team. The scoring began with Evanilson’s goal, assisted by Marcus Tavernier, followed by Dango Ouattara’s strike to make it 2-0. Semenyo’s 39th-minute goal, his third of the season, effectively sealed the win.
Southampton managed a consolation goal in the second half but could not mount a comeback. Semenyo has now been directly involved in four goals in Bournemouth’s first six Premier League matches this season.
