Ghanaian footballer Abdul Baba Rahman, who plays as a left-back for PAOK, has regained consciousness after collapsing during a Greek Cup semifinal match against Panathinaikos. The incident occurred in the 115th minute of the game when Rahman collided with an opponent’s head.
Swift medical attention was provided on the field to prevent any serious consequences. Rahman was then rushed to the hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition after briefly losing consciousness.
The referee paused the game following the incident, but it eventually resumed and went into penalty shootouts, with Panathinaikos emerging victorious with a 6-5 win.
