Fire engulfed the A & C shopping mall in Accra.
According to reports, the fire started in the late hours, specifically 10:17pm of Tuesday June 2, 2020.
It took the intervention of the Ghana National Service from the Legon station to fight the situation.
According to eye witnesses, the fire started immediately after cleaned the area for operation.
Samuel Asare, Assistant Divisional Officer Grade Il of the Legon station revealed that over 26 fire extinguishers and 2 tenders were used to quench the fire. This indeed describes how intense the fire was.
It is suspected that the fire was caused by electrical faults.
