Court Dismisses Bernard Mornah’s Disqualification Suit

The High Court has dismissed the application filed by Bernard Mornah, flagbearer of the People’s National Convention (PNC), challenging his disqualification from the upcoming presidential election by the Electoral Commission (EC). The ruling, delivered on Monday, October 21, 2024, closes off any legal routes Mornah could have taken to reverse the EC’s decision.

Mornah’s disqualification stemmed from irregularities in his nomination forms, which raised doubts about the validity of his candidacy. This decision sparked debate about the fairness of the electoral process.
