Vice President Kamala Harris has chosen Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as her running mate for the upcoming November elections, according to CNN.
Governor Walz, a former educator, is serving his second term as Minnesota’s governor and chairs the Democratic Governors Association.
He previously served 12 years in Congress, representing a conservative-leaning rural district that has been predominantly Republican before and after his tenure.
