Afua Asantewaa Owusu Aduonum, the Ghanaian vocalist who aimed to break the Guinness World Record (GWR) for the longest individual singing performance, has revealed that her team is yet to submit the necessary evidence for official recognition.
Speaking about the status of her record-breaking attempt, Asantewaa mentioned that the judges and technical team involved in the endeavor have completed their assessments. They are preparing to submit the conclusive materials to the Guinness World Record officials for thorough verification before an official pronouncement can be made regarding her attempt.
Asantewaa shared these details during her presence at the Potter’s City congregation, led by Prophet Nanasei Opoku-Sarkodie in Prampram on New Year’s Eve. Her arrival was greeted with enthusiasm, with the Prophet personally welcoming her and her husband, accompanied by members of her production hub, ASKOF Productions.
Prophet Opoku-Sarkodie expressed his excitement in meeting Asantewaa, highlighting her confidence as a source of inspiration and motivation. He acknowledged her impact, mentioning that she had become a topic of his teachings since he learned about her remarkable endeavor. The Prophet extended his blessings through prayers, adorning them with a prayer mantle and prophesying a new chapter in their lives.
Earlier that day, Asantewaa’s team participated in a thanksgiving service at Glorious Word Power International, led by Apostle Dr. Isaac Owusu Bempah.
