I Will Move to Togo if Mahama Wins 2024 Elections: Maurice Ampaw

Prominent attorney Maurice Ampaw has declared his intention to depart from Ghana should former President John Mahama emerge victorious in the 2024 general elections. He cited his reservations based on Mahama’s prior presidential term from 2012 to 2016, asserting that he would prefer not to be governed by him once more.

In an interview with Angel FM, Ampaw articulated his concerns, suggesting that residing in Togo might be a more appealing option than being under Mahama’s leadership.

He went on to allege that Mahama’s potential return to power could result in the misappropriation of state resources to settle substantial debts incurred during the 2016 political campaigns.
