Members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Parliament have asked for forgiveness after incurring the wrath of the party’s national communications officer for passing the ministerial nominees of President Nana Akufo-Addo.
Sammy Gyamfi took the NDC Members of Parliament to the cleaners following the passage of all the president’s nominees including Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Hawa Koomson, and Afriyie Akoto.

In a Facebook post, Gyamfi said the party suffered “great betrayal” in the hands of Alban Bagbin, Haruna Iddrissu, and Muntaka Mubarak.
However, in a statement signed by the Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu, the lawmakers called for forgiveness for failing to do the party’s bidding by rejecting some of the ministers-designate that appeared before the vetting committee.
“You may be disappointed in this outcome but we will not disappoint or let you down in the future,” the statement said.
The minority leader’s statement further denied the claims that they were bought.
