60-Year-Old Chopbar Operator Killed in Suspected Robbery at Anloga

A tragic incident unfolded in Anloga Dornorgbor, Volta Region, where a 60-year-old chopbar operator, Dorcas Korkor Tetteh, was killed in a suspected robbery attack.

The deceased, who operated a popular chopbar called The Base, was found lifeless in her room on the morning of Saturday, December 28, 2024, with visible marks on her body.

According to reports, the suspected robbers struck during the night. Presiding Member of the Anloga District Assembly, Joseph Kpattah, revealed that the victim had returned from church on Friday night before the attack.

Workers arriving at her residence on Saturday morning discovered that the metal bars on her windows had been forcibly removed, with both windows and doors left open. Upon entering the room, they found her lifeless body on the floor.

The incident was reported to the police, who later transported the body to the morgue for further investigation. Authorities have launched an inquiry into the case to apprehend those responsible for the heinous crime.
