57-Year Old Elizabeth Yamoah Reads On Radio [Video]

Awwww!! It was such an emotional moment for Madam Elizabeth Yamoah when appeared and read on the radio for the time in her life.

Auntie Lizzy completed Junior High school last week Friday, setting the record of being the first oldest candidate to have sat for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

She’s 57-year old, and attended Odoben Presby Basic “A” Junior High School.

Speaking on Okay FM, monitored by GhanaArticles.com, The 57-year old displayed her reading skills when the host gave her some newspapers and an advert script to test her reading skills.

She thanked President Akufo-Addo for implementing free SHS policy as she aims to go SHS. She also added that she wants to go to house to house and encourage both young and old people to also go to school.

According to her, she sat for this year’s BECE exams to enable her to enter into the Senior High School where she would also sit for the WASSCE then gradually reach out to her childhood dreams of becoming health personnel.
