
Ten suspects captured in a viral video physically assaulting two young women at Wassa Dawuranpong in the Western Region have been arrested. The operation was carried out by the Ghana Police Special Cyber Vetting and Enforcement Team in collaboration with the Western Central Regional Police Command.
According to a police statement dated November 27, 2025, the women were attacked after being accused of stealing money from a gold-buying shop.
Three suspects—32-year-old Eric Donkor (alias Killer Block), 29-year-old Yaw Gyimah, and 24-year-old Edmond Nartey—were identified in the video cutting through the victims’ scalps with a razor blade. They are currently in police custody.
However, another key suspect, Tawiah (alias Awaga), who was also seen cutting one of the women’s scalps, remains at large.
Additional suspects arrested for aiding and abetting include:

Police say efforts are underway to provide the victims with the necessary support.
The Western Central Regional Police Command has cautioned the public against mob justice and urged that all suspects be handed over to law enforcement for due legal processes.
